Journal & Essays

For when work stays with you longer than it should.

This is where I publish longer pieces on the patterns behind meeting carryover, conversation replay, context switching, overthinking, and the mental residue that follows people-heavy work.

Some pieces explain what is happening underneath the experience. Some are practical notes for separating what needs action from what can be released. Some are more personal essays on the patterns I notice in work, attention, energy, and decision-making.

The Executive Energy Journal focuses on the mechanics: why your brain keeps processing, why certain conversations linger, why switching tasks can feel heavier than expected, and what helps you return to yourself before the next thing.

The essays are wider and more reflective. They explore the same territory from a more personal angle: overthinking, work, attention, intuition, boundaries, and the strange little ways we carry more than we need to.

Start here if you want language for what is happening, and practical ways to carry less of it.
