Celebrating My Website Update. Also, Why I’m Writing Here at All

A Warm Welcome to My Updated Website

I’m so glad you’re here!

Today, I want to mark something that feels both small (it's just a website update) and huge (it's an invitation to a different kind of conversation): my new site is live.

For those who already know me from LinkedIn, especially my Executive Energy Journal newsletter, you might wonder: Why even have a separate blog? Isn't that overkill?

Let’s talk about that.

A Different Kind of Space: Informal, Curious, Personal

My newsletter on LinkedIn has grown into a lovely community of thoughtful, analytical, even skeptical HSPs (Highly Sensitive Professionals) and empaths who value nuanced, evidence-based explorations of energy and intuition. Or, that's what I write about, and the article open rates have been phenomenal from the start, so I dare assume that is, in fact, valued.

There, I stay pretty structured. I tend to cite research papers, build a clear argument, and offer practical frameworks. I love it. I love delving into the topics, I already have closer to 100 new topics lined up.

But here, I want to loosen my tie.

This blog is where I’ll explore ideas that might be a little messier, more personal, sometimes playful.

Think of it like the difference between presenting at a professional conference, and chatting with smart friends over good coffee. Which I also love.

Why I Wanted a Blog at All

Honestly? Because while studying the research and evidence is fulfilling and inspiring, real transformation rarely happens in footnotes.

I’ve found that my most meaningful insights about energy, boundaries, intuition, and purpose often sneak up on me when I’m just living, or even not doing much anything, on purpose.

So I want this space to hold that spirit.

Here, I might share odd or funny personal stories that taught me something about energy. Explore intuition in ways that don’t require a bibliography. Invite you to question things without expecting a single, perfect answer.

If the newsletter is “Science Meets Intuition,” the blog might be “Curiosity Meets Being Human Sat on the Sofa.”

Who This Blog Is For

If you’re here because you’re a highly sensitive person, empath, or just a curious human with a tendency to overthink — welcome home.

Maybe you’re a leader who wants to hold space for your team without collapsing under their stress.
Maybe you’re at a life pivot, wondering what’s next, while resisting any fluffy, ungrounded advice.
Or maybe you just want to read reflections from someone who takes subtle energy seriously but not solemnly. That is actually one of my favourite sayings. Serious, but not solemn, or vice versa.

This blog is for you.

What to Expect

Let’s set some expectations, because (spoiler) I’m also doing this for my own accountability.

  • Posts about the subtle side of leadership, but less formal than the newsletter
  • Honest reflections on running a coaching business as an HSP
  • Topics I’m personally exploring — with all the mess and wonder that comes with it
  • Occasional silly metaphors, cats in the background, and imperfect but real insights.

This isn’t going to be a polished “10 Steps to Inner Peace” SEO machine, or the equivalent in AI searches.

Instead, it’s my way to share what’s actually on my mind.

How It Connects with My Newsletter

If you already subscribe to the Executive Energy Journal, don’t worry—that’s still on the agenda.

The newsletter will stay:

  • Structured

  • Research-backed

  • Geared toward the skeptical, analytical reader who wants evidence as much as insight

This blog is the other side of the coin.

You could say that:
Newsletter = the engineer in me
Blog = the intuitive cat-mum storyteller who has coffee stains on her notes. And clothes.

An Invitation to Return

Finally, let me just say this: I don’t want this to be a one-time visit.

My big hope is that this blog becomes a place you want to return to.

I want it to feel like a familiar cafe corner where we can think out loud about questions like:

  • How do I stop absorbing other people’s stress?

  • Can intuition be trained (without going full “woo”), or what happens if you do go full woo? (Which I sort of have, for a while.)

  • How do I lead or live in a world that often feels too loud, too fast?

And maybe even:

  • How do I not take myself so seriously along the way? Or, how do I take myself seriously so I grow?

Thank You for Being Here

If you’ve read this far, thank you.

This website update isn’t just about colors and buttons. It’s about offering you another door in.

So stick around. Comment if you want. Bookmark it. Return next week.

Because as much as I love science and structure, the human connection matters more.

And that’s what this space is really for.
