Why normal breaks don’t work

 

Most people try to reset by:

• taking a walk
• getting coffee
• switching tasks

But those don’t actually close the interaction.

Your system is still tracking what happened in the room.

A simple three-part sequence used around any meeting or difficult interaction.

1. Baseline (AUDIO 1: before)

Establish your internal reference point so you enter the interaction from a stable centre.

About the method

The Meeting Reset Method was developed by Niina Gullsten, a Finnish specialist working at the intersection of systems thinking, neuroscience-informed frameworks, intuition, and energetic calibration.

The underlying mechanism is attention and energy. The method itself is a simple somatic protocol professionals can run before, during, and after meetings.

The method draws on two decades of applied client work, and on research such as the Zeigarnik effect, event boundary theory, polyvagal/autonomic regulation, and attention placement. It was field-tested in a structured 7-day protocol before release.
