Welcome

This page is here to support you before, during, and after our sessions. You don’t need to use everything every time. Think of it as a small library you can dip into when it feels helpful, not another list of things to do.

How to Use This Page

  • You do not need to read everything before our first session.
  • If you’re short on time, focus on the 5-minute settling practice and skim the Session Agreement.
  • Come back to the reflections or optional supports whenever it feels useful.

Our work is about making your life feel more spacious and workable, not more crowded. Take what serves you, and leave the rest.

Before Your Session: Settling In

This is not homework. It’s simply an invitation to arrive for your session a little more grounded and connected to yourself.

A short settling practice (about 5 minutes)

  • You can do this sitting, standing, or lying down.
  1. Pause and notice your body
Feel where your body makes contact with the chair, floor, or bed. Notice the weight of your body being held up without you doing anything.

  2. Let your eyes land
Gently look around the space you’re in. Let your eyes rest on 3–5 objects, one at a time. Name them silently: “lamp… window… book…”. This reminds your nervous system that you’re here, now.

  3. Soften your breathing
You don’t need to breathe “correctly”. Just notice your next 3–5 breaths. On each exhale, see if you can let your shoulders, jaw, or belly soften by 2–3%.

  4. Notice what’s most present
Ask yourself gently: “What feels most alive or most pressing for me today?”
There is no right answer. Just notice whatever comes up.

If you like, you can bring that “most pressing thing” as a starting point for our session.

After Your Session: Immediate Reflections

Right after we finish, your system often has fresh impressions, even if your thoughts feel fuzzy. This space is for capturing those impressions lightly, without overthinking.

Optional reflection prompts
You can write in a journal, a notes app, or wherever feels easy. You don’t need full sentences. Fragments and single words are welcome.

  1. What stood out?
A phrase, a feeling, a body sensation, an image, or a realization.

  2. What feels a tiny bit different?
This might be a 1% shift in tension, perspective, or possibility.

  3. What do I want to be gentle/proud/practical/trusting with myself about?
Name one area for each that triggers a reaction.

  4. One small next step (if any)
If something practical emerged, name one tiny, realistic action.
If nothing comes, that’s completely fine.

You’re welcome to share any of these reflections with me before or during our possible next session, but you don’t have to.
