When meetings are over, but something in you isn’t
A short, practical reset for people who notice they stay “online”
longer than a situation actually requires.
Many capable, perceptive professionals notice a familiar pattern:
A meeting ends. A conversation is done. A decision is made.
And yet, something keeps running.
Not emotionally dramatic, or stressful. But active in the background.
You’re calm, functional, and clear enough, just not quite free.
This work exists for that moment.
What This IsÂ
The Meeting Reset is a short, practical method designed to help your system register that an interaction has actually ended, so your attention and energy can return to baseline.
It does not require:
-
analysing what happened
-
regulating emotions
-
reframing meaning
-
or “working on yourself”
It focuses on the "mechanical" step most of us were never taught:
how to disengage internally.
The Pattern This Work Addresses
This method is relevant if you recognise one or more of these:
-
tuning into interactions long before they begin
-
staying fully engaged in situations that didn’t truly require it
-
carrying meetings, conversations, or decisions long after they are over
In short:
opening loops automatically, and leaving them open.
This often shows up as background mental load, slower recovery, or reduced clarity, even when nothing is “wrong.”
How This WorksÂ
The reset is used inside situations that already exist in your day:
meetings, conversations, decisions.
There is no extra learning or studying.
The method consists of:
-
2 short audio resets (6–8 minutes each)
-
clear written instructions
-
an optional cognitive/energetic sorting tool (Unload GPT) for moments when mental residue is present
You’ll use it in at least one interaction per day for about a week.
That’s it.
What This Is / Is NotÂ
This is:
-
short and bounded
-
practical and experiential
-
focused on everyday professional interactions
This is not:
-
coaching
-
therapy
-
emotional processing
-
identity work or self-improvement
We’re not exploring history or personality.
We’re addressing a specific, repeatable pattern.
Why I’m Offering This NowÂ
This pattern keeps appearing in my work, especially with people who are already reflective, regulated, and perceptive.
Rather than theorising further, I’m making the method available in a small, contained way to observe how it functions in real life.
Not to fix anyone, but to see what changes when disengagement does happen.
Who This Is For
This is for people whose work involves regular interaction:
meetings, conversations, decisions.
You don’t need to be exhausted or overwhelmed, just able to notice the pattern described above.
Â
How To Take PartÂ
I’m inviting 2–3 people to use the method in their day-to-day context.
If this feels relevant, leave your details below and I’ll be in touch to confirm fit and next steps.
Your details will only be used for this one purpose.
This is not about doing more, but seeing how to do less intentionally.
